Speech and Language

Many parents and families are uncertain about what a speech and/or language deficit includes. Speech and Language deficits and/or disorders are numerous and common. The critical language-learning period is between the ages of birth to 3 years. Early intervention has been proven to enhance a child’s language skills for greater academic and social success later on. It is essential for all care givers to identify any impairments or difficulties as early as possible to remediate this problem so communication will not be affected.
